We met again for a Christmas lunch at Purley Sports Club at the end of November. Our thanks to Lucy at the Club for producing a lovely meal.
Instead of exchanging Christmas cards we raised £140 to provide fresh veg from the Community Farm for Sutton Foodbank at Christmas.

We restarted the walk in May - four years after the walk began!
In August, once it was permitted, about 40 of us met for lunch at the Oaks Centre.

Our longer walk on 20th Feb was along the River Wandle on a rather wet day!

We had Christmas lunch at the Royal China in Wallington and subsequently donated a cheque for £201 to Sutton Community Farm who will supply veg boxes to the Sutton Foodbank. Our donations were instead of exchanging Christmas cards.

28 of us had lunch on 27th November at the Royal China in Wallington!
Instead of giving Christmas cards to each other we had a collection and raised £250 for the Sutton Community Farm VegBox scheme which donates fresh vegetables to the Sutton Foodbank. Thank you WallyWalkers!

We had a super visit to the Farm on Tuesday 3rd April - Sam showed us round and allowed us to sample different salad leaves growing in the poly tunnels.

  • We got a mention in the Sutton Community Farm newsletter: "and the kind people from WallyWalks who have been visiting the farm monthly since May donated £140 so that we can deliver fresh fruit and veg in December to Sutton Food Bank."
